Of all the things I’ve seen in the college, this has to be the weirdest. According to the college, because many students are foreign and from different ethnic backgrounds, it’s an event used to allow staff and students to celebrate and share their differences.. or something of the sort. What you can see in the poor quality photo above, (I don’t carry a camera about and my phone’s is crap) is some form of dance, music, and singing with Dholaks.
Also, notice the overuse of the word “Respect” by this college. It’s irritating, and thanks to their overuse, the word seems to have lost all meaning to me.
whats the point in making such a big deal out of it, it just segregates the soon to be majorities more than they already arent :P
